ADMINISTRATION: Department Of Motor Vehicles

The Department of Motor Vehicles is charged with issuing driver permits and licenses to both regular and commercial drivers. Conditional and restricted licenses are issued to people who have lost their privilege to drive. When customers process a license transaction, they can also register to vote. All types of registrations and plates can be obtained, including boats and snowmobiles. Official plates can be issued by this office, as well as the collection of sales tax.

The Tioga County Department of Motor Vehicles has returned to the County Office building on the corner of Main St & Academy Ave. We are now located on the 1st floor across from the Hubbard Auditorium.
