The Low Income Household Water Assistance Program, authorized through the Continuing Appropriations Act of 2021 and the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, is accepting applications LIHWAP is available to assist low income New York State households who have past due bills (arrears) for drinking water and/or wastewater services. The program is administered by the State.
