Saturday, October 26th is National Drug Take Back Day, where people can safely get rid of old medicine and other drugs.
Tioga County residents will have two locations to dispose of unused or expired prescription drugs this Saturday in Tioga County:
Medication tablets, capsules, patches, and other solid forms of prescription drugs can be disposed of at both locations. Those who have sharps, syringes, needles, and lancets are able to dispose of these at the Owego location only. These must be in a sealed sharps container and "loose" sharps will not be accepted.
